Alberta police organization announces Golden Jubilee Commemorative Medal recipients

The Alberta Federation of Police Associations announced today that twenty-five Albertans, who have made a significant contribution to policing excellence and police association leadership in their respective Alberta communities, have been awarded the Queen's Golden Jubilee Commemorative Medal.
The Commemorative Medal was created on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of her Majesty's accession to the throne. The Alberta Federation of Police Association, through its parent organization, the Canadian Police Association, was selected as one of the organizations responsible for facilitating the nomination process.
